July 4th is one of the busiest weekends of summer on the Lost Coast and, for four days, July 1-4, Friends of the Lost Coast and the Bureau of Land Management King Range National Conservation Area seek your volunteer service as a Trailhead Host at Black Sands Beach in Shelter Cove.

Eureka's 4th of July Festival

The festival spans five city blocks along Second Street. Vendor booths will feature a wide variety of foods, crafts, commercial items, fine art and community groups getting the word out about their organizations. There will be kids activities, fire trucks, horse & carriage rides and more.
