The Humboldt Crabs announced late Thursday evening that they've had to cancel both their Friday and Saturday home games. Word is their weekend opponent, the cowardly San Diego Waves, called last minute to cancel. Not cool, Waves. Boo!
Here's your silver lining: The Crabs were also scheduled to defeat the Waves on Sunday — not now, of course — but luckily the Humboldt B52s have stepped up to ensure the spectacle of competition for the sports-hungry masses. (Details here.) Good on you, B52s. Hooray!
