WEDNESDAY LOWDOWN: Renowned Drag King Makes Humboldt His Home This Week

2016 was a drag! Boo! (Are we still doing that?) Well, the beginning of your 2017 can also be a drag … but we’re talking a totally different kind of drag this time LOL. Yay! (Words.)

Specifically, drag king and illusionist Spikey Van Dykey — who was featured on The Huffington Post’s historical list of “28 Drag Kings You Should Know” — is in town this week, treating Humboldt to a drag residency of sorts. Here’s a quick rundown of events he'll be making more glamorous:
