The most high-profile aural encounter available this Humboldt Tuesday occurs up at the Van Duzer Theatre where the Yonder Mountain String Band return to share their acoustic almost-bluegrass. KHUM DJ Bayley Brown spoke with YMSB mando man Jacob Jolliff this afternoon to discuss the band’s new album, Black Sheep, the status of his former band Joy Kills Sorrow, and the epic rise of his “man bun” to Internet infamy.
Listen below and/or check out Tuesday’s slate of other, more-man-bun-free shows in your Lowdown listings farther down. --AG
