Tuesday Lowdown: Oh, Just Another Brazilian Psychdelic Pop Band in Humboldt

Here we go again! Just when you thought Humboldt had seen every one of the oodles of Brazilian psychedelic pop bands touring the globe, here comes Goiânia’s own Boogarins peddling “shimmering guitar work and brooding ballads” featuring “sturdy riffs and post-bossa rhythms.” Wait. Maybe this is something unique worth your Tuesday. Plus, Arcata’s more-than-ample Portuguese population should note that the band sings in the mother tongue! Comemoro!
