Lowdown: Your Guide to Tuesday's Most Impressive Fingers

Your Humboldt Tuesday just so happens to be a great time to gawk at fingers (think "music"). Most notably, former Yonder Mountain String Band mandolin shredder Jeff Austin will display his acrobatic digits onstage at HumBrews. Now, there is no shortage of video evidence of Austin’s dexterity out there on the interwebz, but as we were googling around for such proof we came across a YouTube clip titled “Jeff Austin Blesses my Mandolin” uploaded by none other than Humboldt’s own Burly Dent of The HiLL and The Trim Scene fame. In this case "to bless" means "to touch." Seems fair.

Enjoy that little recorded moment below and also note that the local Gypsy jazz magicians of La Musique Diabolique — a favorite of LoCO’s —  will be playing for free at Redwood Curtain Brewery this evening. Further, have y’all ever heard Anna Hamilton play guitar? She rules every Tuesday at the Palm Lounge. So many fingers to choose from!
