Humboldt Mourns Loss of Spock

It’s been about two weeks since God or Gene Roddenberry or whoever beamed up Leonard Nimoy to that big, shiny holodeck in the heavens. He lived long. He prospered. Thanks for the acting.

Now, LoCO is going to go ahead and assume that you did not make the trek (heh) to the legendary actor’s funeral — hell, William Shatner didn’t even make it — but don’t fret. If you need to publicly mourn Lenny, the fine folks at the Eureka Theater got you covered. Sunday they’ll be screening Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (5 p.m.) as well as the 2009 reboot Star Trek (7 p.m.).

Whether its appropriate or not, we’re gonna go ahead and watch Spock’s funeral scene now. Not into nerdy memorials? Other Sunday options in your Lowdown listings below. -AG
