The words above belong to award-winning poet and activist Andrea Gibson who takes the stage at the Kate Buchanan Room at HSU Monday night to read selections from her newest book Pansy. Gibson’s work aims to challenge gender norms and highlights the struggles LGBTQIA people still face.
