But we wanted to remind local folk and folk-ish musicians that its that time of year again when you should highly consider submitting your band info for a chance to play at the annual Humboldt Folklife Festival.
Tentatively, this year’s weeklong community music celebration is scheduled for July 11 through 18, culminating with the vibrant All Day Free Fest. If you’d like a chance of being a part of this beloved, well-attended local tradition submit a sample of your music to nancy@humboldtfolklife.org by April 17. For more info, head on over to the Humboldt Folklife Society website.
