Looks like there’s a few distractions available for Humboldt’s Tuesday night Netflix rejecters. Tonight is the second and final staging of Monkey at Dell’Arte. The show is presented as part of the continuing Mad River Festival and is performed in Kyogen style by Osugi Musical Theatre, direct from Japan. LoCO admits to not knowing much about Kyogen, but it is described on Dell’Arte’s website as follows:
Humboldt County Library
/ 6:30-9 p.m.
Starring Gene Tierney, Cornel Wilde, Jeanne Crain and Vincent Price. Directed by John M. Stahl. Based on the novel by Ben Ames Williams. Part of the Based on the Book Film Series. Hosted by Jan Ostrom.
