Hey! Kyle Kinane Made it to Humboldt After All!

My apologies to the Arcatians planning on coming to the show tonight. Gonna make it up to you. Thx to @Savagehenrymag for dealing w/ it too!

(Above: Kyle Kinane tweeted in March after a cancelled HumBrews gig)

Kyle Kinane keeps his promises, for the record. Back in March, Humboldt comedy fans may recall that the much-followed comedian engaged in a lengthy, one-sided tweet war with United Airlines after he was forced to scratch his Savage Henry-sponsored gig in Arcata due to flight woes all-too-familiar to locals. Oh what a time we had.

After the cancelation, Kinane assured us all in the tweet above that he would find a schedule hole for us. This Wednesday night, lo and behold, we fit. The standup is scheduled to be joined on stage at HumBrews by local yuk-slingers Dutch Savage and Ivan Mueting

And just in case you are worried that #planeprobz could befall Kinane again, let LoCO put you at ease. Last night’s Savage Henry open mic at The Jam featured a surprise appearance from our man who made sure to take special travel precautions for this trek to Humboldt, i.e., he flew on a different airline into Crescent City.

Y’all know how it is:

Taking two flights to the home of Pelican Bay prison to rent a car to drive to Arcata to avoid using @united airlines for this Arcata show.

Reminder, @united, you have a $400 credit for me somewhere. I will never use it. Pls do something humane with it (i.e. NOT A UNITED FLIGHT)

I'm on the same kind of plane that gave Don McLean a career. Last tweet ever. RIP me. Serve Portillos at my funeral. pic.twitter.com/iRQWCwlMXs
