Wednesday Lowdown: Guy Fieri is Bumping Fists at the Humboldt County Fair Today (PHOTOS)

If you haven’t been to the Humboldt County Fair yet this year, well, your cholesterol thanks you. But! If you were going to go, LoCO will dutifully remind you that Wednesday is the day where you can breathe the same barnyard air as Ferndale’s favorite son, Guy Fieri.

This afternoon Fieri sauntered around the fairgrounds grandstand area and bumped fists with the many competitors in this year’s Surf and Turf Barbecue competition. Many “Me and Guy” selfies were secured.

If you are worried you missed your chance to bro down with the Food Network star, 1) check your priorities and b) fear not because Fieri will be emceeing a Battle of the Bands on the Midway Stage starting at 7 p.m. Make plans to attend that or any of the other admittedly less-star-studded events in your Lowdown below.
