Sunshine Daydreamer Memorial Fundraising Continues Tonight

A few weeks back, LoCO ran a piece about how the friends of Alan Marcet AKA Sunshine Daydreamer were raising funds online to purchase materials for an elaborate art installation memorial for their fallen friend to be erected at this year's Burning Man. A quick look at the Indiegogo page set up for the cause -- which was also reportedly to help Sunshine's mom with some life expenses -- reveals the goal has not yet been met.

But Sunshine's community soldiers on. Tonight's edition of Nocturnum's weekly EDM night Whomp Whomp Wednesdays will act as a another fundraiser for the proposed Burning Man shrine.  Sunshine's mother Nancy will be in attendance to help facilitate the evening's proceedings which will also feature performances by artists MYSTRAL, Mikey Datablend, Panorama Beats, as well as a silent auction and live painting demonstrations.

Shine on. Other Wednesday night happenings in your Lowdown below.
