Another Great Day at Pastels on the Plaza
Cliff Berkowitz / Saturday, Oct. 7 @ 3:05 p.m. /
Amy was up bright and early this morning with her coveralls on, brushes and spray bottle in hand, and armed with a fresh box of pastels. Every year, since KHUM began in 1996, Amy has drawn the KHUM square for Pastels on the Plaza, a fundraiser for North Coast Children's Services. Generally she chooses some indigenous critter to star in the square. This year it was the Pelican. If you want to see Amy's temporary sidewalk art in person, you will find it on the east side of the plaza more toward 8th street.
