DNA In Stars

This has nothing to do with anything, but it's still hella cool. Scientists, using a big huge telescope located in West Virginia, found molecules thought to be precursors to DNA in a giant cloud of gas some 25,000 light-years from Earth. How did they find these things? By detecting the tiny amounts of energy emitted or absorbed when the molecule changes from one rotational state to another. Crazy.
