Tonight's Cocktail - LoCal Local

I just made up the name of this drink and I'm not proud of it but can we please just move on? The point is, with summer on the near horizon, maybe we want to slim down a bit. Everyone knows that alcohol has a fair amount of calories, but it's not like a cocktail has to be completely
out of the question when dieting. Therefore, we humbly offer the LoCal Local. "LoCal" because it is low-calorie relative to some other cocktails and "Local" because...well, just I guess because it's a play on "LoCal". Whatever. The name is not important. Here's how you make it:
2 oz. Camarena Silver Tequila
½ of a lemon, quartered
8 mint leaves
1 tbsp. sugar-free sweetener
3 oz. soda water
Garnish: lemon wedge
Muddle lemon, mint, and sweetener in a cocktail shaker. Add tequila and ice. Shake vigorously and pour into a tall glass. Top with soda water and stir gently. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
NB: I much, much, much, much, much prefer simple syrup to sugar-free sweetener. In fact, I'd never make this with sugar-free sweetener and would always make it with simple syrup. But that adds calorie so...do what you feel is right.
