Lise (Marina Hands) is a French filmmaker on a cross-country trip through snowy Canada from the east coast to the Pacific. Her journey takes her to Alexandra (Maya Sansa), a doctor in a remote outpost, and the last girlfriend of Lise’s ex-husband, a world-famous artist, clown, and performer (James Thiérrée) who has vanished. Each of the women tries to understand how the love of their life could love the other. Each grapples with the question of how to coexist with an artist’s neuroses. It is a splendid duet between two women, spliced with the astonishing talent of the tightrope walker James Thiérrée, the son of Victoria Chaplin, and founder of "Le cirque imaginaire".

In French with English subtitles.

Starring Marina Hands, Maya Sansa, and James Thiérrée.

"In The Snow Forest" available at Northtown Books and Eureka Books.
