We know how much water the Potter Valley hydroelectric project releases into the Eel. And we know how much water is getting down to Fort Seward. Between those two points are small and large tributaries that pour more water into the river. So what's the difference in flow between?

Meanwhile, the salmon are stacking up in Fortuna. A river dive on Tuesday found that there are easily hundreds, if not thousands of fish waiting for enough flow to make their way upstream.
