Fudge Recipe

Here is tonight's recipe for a home made goodie that is easy to make and great to share. This is a never fail recipe with only 2 (or 3) ingredients and is never grainy.

Combine 1 can of sweetened condensed milk with 1 package of chocolate chips (I like bitter sweet) in a microwavable bowl. This can also be done on a double boiler if you don't want to use a microwave.

Heat gently and stir until everything is melted together & combined. Optional: add nuts (I like walnuts for their tannic contrast to the sweet fudge). Turn everything into a pan lined with plastic wrap or wax paper. Cool thoroughly then cut into squares.

Try not to eat too much yourself. Remember to tell everyone that making fudge is really hard and time consuming and they are some of the lucky ones you have shared your batch with. A little white lie to make others feel special.

Have fun!
