Protesters, Reporter Hauled Out of Supes Meeting

Hank Sims / Tuesday, March 8, 2011 @ 12:22 p.m. /

Earlier today, activists protesting the proposed Richardson Grove Improvement Project disrupted the regular meeting of the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors, sitting down in the chamber and chanting. The meeting was recessed, and the sheriff's office was called out to arrest the demonstrators. (Story and pics at the Times-Standard.)

T-S county reporter Donna Tam -- who, along with the rest of the public, was asked to leave the meeting room while the arrest when down -- spoke to Mike Dronkers and Hank Sims about the Supes' exciting morning. Press "play" to listen, or right-click to download.
