Adoptable puppies & mama dog ‘Dixie’
Tamara McFarland:
"As much as I love having them here with us, I am concerned that they are progressing into a new stage of development - one in which their individual needs would be better met in family settings, with fewer dogs. Up until about eight weeks, the best possible thing for a puppy is to be with his mother and siblings - in fact, it's critical for his social development. But much beyond that age, they start to get pretty wild in a pack of seven, and I'm not able to work with that many puppies individually to teach them the ins and outs of life with a human family.

So I'm writing to you today with a plea for help. You can help a little or a lot, but please, do consider contributing in some capacity to this little endeavor. If we all work together, I know we can raise all eight of Dixie's beautiful puppies to become incredible dogs in amazing human families."
